Winter in Fed Square is about to get overtaken by some proper Punjabi heat. Blockbuster is massive day-to-night celebration of South Asian culture. A free all-ages event that’s set to splash the city with colour, flavour and energy.

We’re welcoming a whole host of superstar artists who’ve never performed in Australia. Head to the main stage for live Pakistani R&B and rap acrobatics, Sufi music, 808 bass, direct from Lahore and more. Explore kaleidoscopic art. Fill your plate with street food. Settle in for the curated film program.

A big theme for the day is Baithak, which is traditionally a space for getting together, sharing stories and lending a hand. Enjoy the community energy. Then, as the sun goes down technicolour lights go up and party kicks on, Blockbuster style.
